Employment at MSA
The MSA junior program staff is comprised of Junior Instructors, Instructors, and Race Coaches. MSA's adult program is run separately by a team of Adult Sailing Instructors. The hiring process is completed each winter and spring. Most instructors return to Manchester year after year!
Junior Instructors are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of sailing fundamentals as well as a basic grasp of racing theory. Many junior instructors previously sailed at MSA, but others come from elsewhere.

Instructor Requirements:
Age 16+
3+ years summers of sailing experience
Numerous sailing and safety certifications
A positive attitude and love for sailing!
