The 4th annual MSA Green Fleet Regatta was a great success today, despite some light-air conditions that tested the patience of all the young sailors (as well as the Race Committee!).  Harlan Smart from Sandy Bay Yacht Club took the top honors with other Sandy Bay and Pleon sailors rounding out the top five.  Bobby McLeod was the top MSA racer, finishing 8th in a fleet of 29.  Bobby's last race was very well sailed and netted him a 3rd place finish.  Way to end on a strong note, Bobby! 

Coach Kristy Landsvik showed the patience, persistance and professionalism that make her a great Green Fleet coach.  The sailors paid close attention to Kristy as she held a team meeting before the racing began, debriefed the sailors on the water after each race and held a final debrief on land after the awards.  All the sailors showed great sportsmanship, with many thanking the Race Committe at the end of the last race.
